This book moves at a slow and relaxing pace as one enters the world of a sunny meadow in France, listening to the hum and buzz of insects and the natural sounds of plant life. The talks do not go well and tempers are rising when an army of warriors emerges from the river. I would recommend it. Garden of Lies is one of the better crafted novels from "Amanda Quick" (Jayne Ann Krentz).
